Privacy Policy

Jugnu is operated by FluxusForge (“we”). For the purposes of India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, we are the Data Fiduciary. You — the parent or legal guardian — give consent on behalf of your child, who is the Data Principal.

From you: your name, email address, timezone, billing state and address, and (if you provide one) your GSTIN.

About your child: the name, nickname, date of birth, pronouns, languages, school and class you enter, plus anything you tell us to avoid.

From conversations: the text of what your child says and what their friend replies, facts learned about your child, the continuing story you build together, and observations with the quotes behind them.

Usage: how long each session lasted, so we can enforce your limits and bill you correctly.

Camera frames, if you enable them: used only to answer that one message. They are never written to disk and never stored.

We do not ask for and do not want your child’s address, phone number, biometrics, or location.

To let your child’s friend remember them, to build the reports you are paying for, to keep your child safe, and to bill you. Nothing else.

We never sell your child’s data. We never use it for advertising or to target anything at your child. We never use it to train any AI model, ours or anyone else’s. We never profile your child for any purpose outside the reports we deliver to you. We never share it with another company except the processors listed below, who act only on our instructions.

Conversations are sent to our language-model provider (OpenRouter, routing to Anthropic and Google models) to generate replies and reports, and speech to Sarvam AI to produce the voice. Payments are handled by Razorpay, who receive your billing details but never your child’s data. Our servers are in Mumbai, India, and our database is not accessible from the public internet.

Conversation transcripts are deleted automatically after 24 months. Observations and reports are kept for as long as your account is open, because they are the product. Payment records are kept for eight years, as Indian tax law requires — those contain no information about your child.

From your dashboard you can read everything we hold, correct or delete any individual fact your child’s friend has learned, export the complete record as a file, delete one child entirely, or delete your whole account. Deletion is permanent and takes effect within 24 hours. We will not ask you to justify it.

Every message is screened. If your child says something that suggests they are in danger — hurting themselves, or someone hurting them — we email you immediately with what was said and the relevant helpline numbers. We do not diagnose, and we do not contact anyone other than you.

Write to grievance@getjugnu.com and we will respond within 7 days and resolve within 30. If you are not satisfied, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
